TELSCOPE offers new functions in version 1.18.
This User Manual will be updated in the next release.
Below is a short introduction to the new functions.
DERIVED STREAMS
A derived stream is a value calculated in TELSCOPE based on two or several data streams for example Static Trim is calculated as Draft AFT - Draft FWD
The following derived streams are included in TELSCOPE 1.18
- Drift
- True Wind (Force & Dir)
- True wind in Beaufort Scale
- Trim
BALLAST WATER RECORD BOOK
When tank sensor is connected to TELSCOPE new functionality will be provided.
The tank graphic has new layout from TELSCOPE ver 1.8.
From top and down th following is displayed
- Tank Name
- Capacity in m3
- Last Reading in m3 e.g. ROB value from the last recorded Ballast Operation where tank was included.
- Last Update
- Current Volume in m3 (dynamic when tank sensors are connected)
BALLAST WATER RECORD BOOK & OIL RECORD BOOK I - TANK START LEVEL
A new input field "Start Volume" has been added.
This is shown when a new operation is started in BWR or OIL RB I.
If tank sensors are connected tank level will be pre populated.
Level can also be corrected manually.
TABLET NEW GUI
To enhance usability on Mobile devices a new menu structure is introduced in TELSCOPE 1.18
The Menu Button in the upper right corner opens the new Menu panel where the user can
- Access TELSCOPE Modules
- Switch Dark/Day mode
- Go to Full Screen
- Switch Dashboard Bridge/Engine
- Switch between UTC/Ship Time and set offset
- Switch user and sign out
- Access system information
