Tidal information in TECDIS

This quick reference guide covers turning on and using the tidal tool in TECDIS.

Turning on the tidal tool

1. Check that either JeppesenPRIMAR or Professional+ chart databases are activated.

This is done by going to: TECDIS → Tool Menu folder → Setup

In the Setup folder, make sure the box besides JeppesenPRIMAR or Professional+ is ticked.

2. Turn on display of tide-symbols in the chart. This is done by going to:

TECDIS → Tool Menu folder → Chart → Layers

The Layer-window will now appear.

In it, you select either JeppesenPRIMAR or Professional+ database, and make sure the box besides C-Map tides is ticked.
