This User Manual will be updated in the next release.
Below is a short introduction to the new functions.
Engine Readings
The first part of new section for Engine Readings is included.
The OPERATIONS panel is changed to MACHINERY with two sub panels OPERATIONS and READINGS.
The following filters are included
- Machine type, drop down to select machine type - Main Engines and Auxiliary Engines
- Reading Type, drop down to select reading type - in this version just Running hours.
- Show total running hours, toggle for ON/OFF
- Date filter
More Machine and Reading types will follow in coming releases.
Data can be exported to Excel
New Reading
The button new Reading opens "ADD DAILY READING PANEL"
Following can be done
- Change Date and TIme
- Add Total Running hours per machine (move to next input field with TAB)
Daily hours will be calculated. - Manual input of daily hours by click on the Pen Icon
NOTE: This break the automatic calculation so booth daily and total must be added manually
Delivery
New function DELIVERY included in Engine Tank Overview -as a Reading, the aim is to support delivery of supplies like OIL, Fresh water to another ship or facility
The following changes has been made
- New option Delivery added under New Reading Button
- New Column for Delivery added in table
- New field for Total Delivery added
Calculation of daily Consumption between two Daily readings are done as follows Daily consumption = Daily Reading #1 + Bunker - Delivery - Daily Reading #2.
Make a Delivery
Press New Delivery Button and select Delivery.
The following can be edited:
- Date and Time
- Place of delivery
- Total Delivered in MT
- Receipt Number
- Tickbox to create Logbook Record
- Density and ROB
Note if tank sensors are connected system will indicate difference between Current Volume (received from tank sensor) and ROB
Ballast Water Record Book
The following enhancement has been made in the Ballast Water Record Book Module.
- Format of entries and records for better alignment to Appendix II of the Annex to the Ballast Water Management (BWM) Convention.
- New Logic used in Ballast Water Operation when Tank Sensors are connected se below.
- Ballast Water Record Book report in PDF - table new layout (similar to OIL RB I)
Ballast Water Operation
When starting and completing a Ballast Operation input fields are pre filled as follows
- Starting Volume = Laste Reading for the particular tank.
This means start volume will be the same as ROB for the tank at the end of the last operation
- Retaining Onboard (ROB) for the tank = Current level e.g. value from sensor
- Quantity Received, Discharge etc is calculated as the difference between starting Level and ROB
Values can be manually corrected.
System display the diff between ROB and Current Level (Sensor)
OIL Record Book I
The following enhancement has been made in the OIL Record Book I
- Support of volume with 3 decimals implemented in Record and reports.
- New Logic implemented for calculations following the same logic as in BWR when Tank Sensors are connected se below.
Oil record Book Operation
When starting and completing a Oil Operation input fields are pre filled as follows
In Bunker (H) operation TELSCOPE estimate Received in MT per tank based on the following calculation
Estimated received (MT) = (Retaining-Start Volume)*Density/1000
Values can be manually corrected.
Note: Summary of what has been in received the tanks (MT) must be = Total Received (MT)
